We always are missing a few boats during Whidbey Island race week. Our sailors head North to do battle on the backside of Whidbey Island. I hope they held our banners high.
Despite this little bump on the ways we had twenty-eight boats on the line. The course called went windward to the restaurants then roomed to a mark off the Madrona trees leaving a final reach to the line. The wind started to lay down about an hour into the race. We horned four boats as they stood on the course.
The green flash was seen as the sun set over the Olympics. Very rare but very special. Great night to be on the water. Results and Standings attached,
